Five weeks on and I still haven’t taken a photograph, however I’m hoping it will not be too much longer before I can hold a camera again.

This is a shot from our recent visit to London and the Churchill War rooms in Horseguards. Well worth a visit but book to ensure a speedy entrance. Allow probably up to three hours to do it justice and its probably it bit dull for kids unless they’re very interested in history. One word summary… fascinating.

Still no new photography, my broken collarbone makes it impossible.

This a reminder of happier times in Paris shopping in the Hediard epicerie in the place de la Madeline. I had taken a Leica X to Paris to shoot some images for a review I was writing for a UK photo magazine, this one didn’t get used at the time. The Leica X was the first APS-C camera to be accepted by Getty images. The rest as they say is history, the APS-C market is now dominated by the excellent Fuji-X series. In my opinion a market that could have been Leica’s had they been prepared to drive it.
